Auto Insurance

Drive safely, worry-free
Auto insurance is a contract between the policyholder, and an insurance company designed to provide financial protection in the event of accidents or incidents involving the insured vehicle. It is essential for every vehicle owner, as it serves as a safeguard against a wide range of situations depending on the coverage selected, including collision accidents, accident-related injuries, vandalism, theft, fire, flooding, hail damage, animal collisions, and other unforeseen events that can impact not only the vehicle itself, but also the owner’s daily routine, financial stability, and peace of mind.
Among the main coverages are:
Liability Coverage
- Covers property damage and bodily injuries caused to others in accidents where the insured driver is at fault. In Texas, the minimum required coverage is $30,000 per injured person, up to a total of $60,000 per accident, and $25,000 for property damage per accident, commonly referred to as 30/60/25 coverage. We strongly advise policyholders to consider higher liability limits, especially in cases involving multi-vehicle accidents, severe injuries, or total loss of another driver’s vehicle.
Comprehensive Coverage
- Protects against theft or damage caused by natural disasters, vandalism, and other non-collision related incidents.
Collision Coverage
- Covers the repair or replacement of the insured vehicle after an accident involving a collision with another vehicle or object.
Medical Payments Coverage
- Covers medical expenses for the insured driver and passengers. With some insurance companies, this coverage may also extend to injuries sustained while riding in another person’s vehicle, walking, or bicycling.
Personal Injury Protection (PIP)
- Similar to Medical Payments coverage, this option covers medical expenses for the insured driver and passengers. In certain cases, it may also provide coverage for lost wages and other non-medical related expenses.
Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Coverage (UM/UIM)
- Provides protection if you are involved in an accident caused by a driver who has no insurance or insufficient coverage. It may also apply in hit-and-run situations, making it imperative to gather evidence and witness information whenever possible.
Towing Coverage
- Covers towing expenses when the insured vehicle cannot be safely driven.
Roadside Assistance / Trip Interruption
- Covers towing to the nearest repair facility and roadside labor assistance, including services such as flat tire changes or battery jump-starts.
Rental Reimbursement
- Reimburses the cost of a temporary rental vehicle while the insured vehicle is being repaired after a covered accident.
*It is important to understand that policy terms, conditions, and coverage availability may vary from one insurance company to another. It is critical to carefully review each policy in order to fully understand the scope of coverage and any exclusions that may apply.
